Hail the bridge.

Affarion runs on reader signal. Pitch a theory, flag a typo, or tell us which era we should cover next. Our editors read every transmission and reply in plain language.

What people write us about

Good reasons to break radio silence.

Affarion is a curated, spoiler-aware fan publication. These four threads pull the fastest reply, but anything Star Wars-shaped is fair game.

Theories worth a deep dive

If your read on the High Republic, the Mortis arc, or the Old Republic deserves more than a tweet, send the long version. We commission expansions of the strongest pitches.

Spoiler policy questions

We tag every page by era and release window. Tell us where a tag slipped or where our cutoff feels wrong. Reader feedback rewrites the policy each season.

Fan creations to feature

Cosplay, fan films, custom sabers, kitbash dioramas. We run a Friday spotlight. Share a portfolio link and the story behind the build.

Corrections and canon disputes

We treat canon like a working document. Bring a source. We update articles in public with a dated note at the foot of the page.

Quick answers from the duty officer.

These four come up most. Read them first so your email lands cleanly. Then send anyway. We like reading mail.

Do you accept guest pitches from new writers?

Yes. Send a one-paragraph pitch and one published or unpublished sample. Era focus matters more than résumé. New voices ship faster than you think.

Are you affiliated with Lucasfilm or Disney?

No. Affarion is an independent fan publication. We cite official sources but speak with our own voice. All trademarks remain with their owners.

Can I request a topic for the magazine?

Always. Drop the era, the character, and what you want answered. We log every request and pick from the list when we plan the next issue.

Where do I report a broken link or wrong date?

Use the same inbox. Include the URL and a screenshot if you have one. Our editor on shift patches the page the same day it lands.

May the message be with you.

One mailbox. Real editors. No autoresponder loops. Send the email you have been drafting in your head for a week.
